Biography of LP Kasem:

LP Kasem was born on 28 November B.E.2455 (C.E.1912) at Lampang province. LP Kasem was ordained as Buddhist novice when he was 15 years old at Wat Boonyuen. Moreover, LP Kasem was ordained as Buddhist monk when he was 21 years old. LP Kasem studied Pali language at Wat Sri Lorm. Moreover, LP Kasem went to study meditation with KB Kaen of Wat Pratupong. LP Kasem went to practice meditation in deep forest and cemetery.  After that LP Kasem was appointed to abbot of Wat Boon Yuen that LP Kasem restore and developed this temple to be well known. Moreover, LP Kasem quitted from the abbot after he was abbot for long time because he want to practice meditation and dharma. LP Kasem passed away on 15 January B.E.2539 (C.E.1996).
