Biography of LP Derm:
LP Derm passed away on 6 February B.E.2403 (C.E.1860) at Nakhon Sawan province. LP Derm studied Thai and Pali language from Wat Nongpho since he was boy. LP Derm was ordained as Buddhist monk when he was 20 years old at Wat Khao Kaew, Nakhon Sawan province on 31 October B.E.2423 (C.E.1880) by LP Kaew of Wat Intharam was preceptor. After ordination, LP Derm went to study magic and meditation with LP Kaew of Wat Intharam, LP Ngoen of Wat Phra Prang Lueng, LP Thet of Wat Sra Thalay, LP Kham of Wat Khao Kaew and other. By the way, LP Derm created many famous amulets such as Meed Moh (exorcist’s knife), Nang Kwak ivory amulet, coin and amulet.

LP Derm passed away on 22 May B.E.2494 (C.E.1951) while he was 92 years old. However, before, LP Derm passed away has many miracle happened such as the elephant that LP Derm looked after for long time, they didn’t work and wanted come back to the temple for meeting LP Derm. Moreover, before LP Derm’s passed away hour. He ask the disciple about the water in the pools at temple about quantity of water because he afraid the people will in trouble if don’t have water for using. The disciple informed the amount of water is not much. After LP Derm got answer, he meditated and make the rain at the temple around half hour that after stop rainy, LP Derm passed away.
